One day when I was praying and reading the book of Jeremiah, God laid this title on my heart: “Soaking in the Sonlight.” I knew that was what He wanted me to name the podcast.

My name is Olivia Parker, and I am a young woman from New Jersey with a passion for serving God and pleasing Him. I like to spend time with the Lord and share whatever He lays on my heart with others. I spent my college years at Princeton University, where I studied Molecular Biology, but towards the end of my time there, I felt the Lord pulling me closer to Him.

I got saved when I was four years old, and I rededicated my life to God back on April 16, 2020…. and there’s no turning back.

I am a Sunday School teacher for the young children and a praise and worship leader at my church. I like to write, sing, exercise, spend time with my family, and talk about the goodness of God.

I pray that God raises up the youth in this generation to love Him, serve Him, and fight in His army. To all the saved youth out there, don’t let anyone despise your youth. Through Christ and Christ alone, you are capable of more than you can imagine. I just pray that Soaking in the Sonlight will help you on this Christian journey.
